CLC Daily Update Jan. 19
Today the children made the cutest little penguins!! We also learned about blubber. While reading our book about Polar Animals one of the children asked how do the animals stay warm in the icy water.... So we did the blubber experiment. We put our hand in ice water and it was soooo cold! Then we used a blubber glove (Shortening in a baggie) and put our hand back in the water, it isn't cold at all with that layer of blubber. I also wanted to tell you about my new blog, well not really new, I started it last year. I just never made it public until now. Mostly I am going to use it for a place to store our daily updates and newsletters. I am going to also try to start posting some daily pictures on it also.
