Muffins for Mom

Every year I plan something special for our Preschool Moms. This year the children made muffins, a footprint butterfly with a sweet little poem, a key chain out of beads... One little girl wanted to put "mommy I love you with all my heart!" So sweet also a lot of beads! But how do you deny a request like that! We also made vases out of plastic cups watered down glue and tissue paper squares. They were actually super cute! Inside the vase we put a tissue paper flower and a flower pen of course... I have celebrated 8 Mother's Days as a Preschool Teacher and made pens every year. It is silly, but has become a tradition and the moms that have been with me for awhile I think deep down would be sad if we didn't make them! LOL We had a pretty good turn out, but I was sad that not all of the moms were able to make it. The disappointment on the little faces breaks your heart! This year we did an A.M. and a P.M. muffins for mom hoping more would be able to make it. I think it did help our turn out!
