Daily Update 2/2

Happy Groundhog Day! Looks like we are in for 6 more weeks of winter, but since we haven't really had a winter I'm not really sure what that means! Today we talked about how much it rains in the rainforest. Some years it rains up to 21 feet, on average in most parts of the world it is 3 feet of rain a year. To put this in perspective we had 7 children lay down foot to head, and we compared how long they were to one child. WOW that is a lot of rain! We also got to play with a rain stick. During Table Time we created really cool rainforest animals. A lot of the children made snakes and vampire bats.
REMINDER: Book Orders are due on February 9. If you would like to pick up a book order they are on the front counter. Deadline to sign up for Parent's Night Out is February 7th.
